About
Our aim is to inspire all Australians to love, grow and conserve our native plants.
The Blue Mountains group was established in the late 1950s by a group of residents of Penrith and the Lower Blue Mountains whose aim was to promote the preservation of Australian plants through cultivation and conservation.
Activities include talks on Australian plants, bush walks focusing on plant identification, day trips, a spring fair held on the second weekend in September and a Christmas get together at Glenbrook Native Plant Reserve.
The group has adopted the Lambertia formosa or Mountain Devil as its logo.
