We are a group of friendly garden enthusiasts who meet monthly to exchange thoughts and ideas relating to cold climate gardening in the beautiful upper Blue Mountains. The Blackheath Horticultural Society is now in its 99th year and, in addition to regular garden club outings and activities, our current focus is preparing for the annual Flower and Craft Show to be held on September 21st and 22nd this year - the perfect opportunity to show off your gardening and creative skills. The show is packed full of plant and flower exhibits, cooking, art and crafts, ‘Garden in a Box’ for the kids and quilting, spinning and embroidery. And why not try your luck in the photography competition - great prizes to be won! Warm local hospitality and a range of comfortable accommodation should you wish to make a weekend of it - just a short trip from Sydney but feels like a million miles away!
