About

St Canice’s is a small, community centred school. We believe that a holistic education, which develops the intellectual, spiritual, physical, social and emotional aspects of each child, is critical in allowing them to achieve their full human and spiritual potential. It is through this development that the students acquire the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that will enable them to reach their personal goals and become lifelong learners. Our motto, 'Growth Through Love and Learning', reflects the importance we place on relationships and learning. These elements are central to achieving growth of the whole child, as it is through this development that we truly live out God’s plan for us. The staff, in partnership with families and our Parish Priest, is committed to providing a school where children feel happy, safe and cared for, and are always actively engaged in their learning.
