Professional, trusted support for pregnancy, birth and post natal care. I am a mother of 4 beautiful daughters and 7 amazing grandchildren. I was fortunate enough to be present at all my grandchildren's births, 2 of which were unplanned home births as the labour's progressed very quickly. I have recently retired as a midwife with over 35 years experience and held a registered Lactation Consultant Certificate for 16 years. I have dedicated my professional life to supporting and empowering women during their pregnancy, birth and throughout the early postnatal period. In addition to my background as a hospital based midwife, I worked in the community on a Continuum Care Program which provided one-on-one care for expectant mothers from booking into the hospital setting to 2 weeks postpartum. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw upon enabling my service to help you and your partner to achieve the best possible birth experience. As your doula my ultimate goal will be to make you feel safe and supported every step of the way. I am here to provide non- judgmental compassionate care, whether you're seeking guidance on childbirth options or need help navigating the hospital system.
