Independent Living Villages Ltd (ILV) is a charity created to give people with disabilities the opportunity to live self-determined, independent lives, by providing a purpose-designed home. A place they can call home; to share with family and friends; and enjoy their own space. Formed in 2016, ILV has worked to re define the concept of accessible homes, working with NDIS participants, support partners and the NDIS, to create purpose designed homes suitable for people with complex disabilities and their families. It is our goal not only to provide purpose designed SDA housing, but to provide expert service and support to help navigate the SDA eligibility and application process and secure SDA accommodation. We want to help at every step of the process – from first conversation to move in.
