The message contained within the Bible is not difficult to understand. The Bible says "wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy". What makes reading the Bible difficult is firstly the language - the King James Version was translated over 400 years ago, so we are reading language relevant to the 16th Century. Since then, many other translations have been made - some good, some not so good; the original Greek and Hebrew texts are available now and can be referenced. The other obstacle many people face is reading the Bible with pre-conceived ideas about what it "should" say. However, when approaching the Bible it is best to come to it with an open mind and a willing heart. The purpose of this website is to help you overcome some of these obstacles, and help you to search out what the Bible really teaches. Let the Bible speak for itself. Everything we believe is backed by Bible testimony, so we believe that what we have is the message Jesus preached nearly 2000 years ago. This gives us hope in an otherwise hopeless world. We believe there is a time coming when Jesus will rule over all the earth; human misrule will end; justice will be worldwide and uncorrupted; law will be applied equally to rich and poor; peace will prevail over all the earth; weapons of war will be turned to agricultural uses and life expectancy will be increased. All of these things are taught by the Bible, our only Hope for the future.
