About

The word Apoteka is derived from the Latin word, meaning repository or house of medicine. Originally, we established Apoteka as a yogic and meditative space with a focus on guiding those who are on their journey of self discovery of their truest potential. With this vision, we formed the foundations of our yogic principles by creating an inclusive and supportive studio where all members of the community can practice and embody their true beings, discovering their purpose, and deeply connecting their mind and body within themselves, and their earth. Our studio and classes were developed to eliminate stigmatisation of yoga as a selective exercise, and shifted our focus to provide physical and mental health support for all human beings. Our studio is welcoming, accepting and loving of all those who choose to follow their path with Apoteka, and our classes are structured to a diversity of students.
