Blue Mountains Health Trust was established in 2002 to promote the health and well-being of the people who live in the Blue Mountains local Government region. The Trust has three purposes. It helps people who have an illness or disability and who have needs which are not covered by existing Government funding. This can include the funding of special equipment, treatment or services or help in managing an illness or disability. The Trust also provides funds to local people to help with health and medicine-related study and to promote medical research.
