The Australian Gin Distillers Association is excited to announce the first ever International Gin Festival, coming to Canberra in 2023. This exclusive event will be an opportunity for gin lovers to sip, sample and savour some of the world’s best gins, with a delicious mix of Australian and imported craft gins. Held in the The Refectory Building at the University of Canberra from 30 June – 1 July, the festival will feature 40 companies with 120 different gins, giving gin enthusiasts the chance to extend their knowledge and discover new brands. The two-day event will feature a three-hour session where attendees will be given a tasting glass and a free tote bag and an invitation to “taste your way around the room”. Some of the many highlights of the festival will be three specialist masterclasses – see the details below. Australia’s new favourite mixer company, Long Rays, will provide a range of tonic and soda water for all tastings. We will also be offering a range of tasty light meals for purchase.
